The radio is sitting right there on one of the bench shelves in his
garage/shop/shed.I could have easily looked up the model number and whatever else information that is on the radio. But,that doesn't matter to me.I will let him know today it might be a rare radio,if in fact it is.I have known him since 1954 and we went to the same school. He was in the Navy and I was in the Army.Rare radio or not, that matter does not mean anything at all to him or me.He collects old antique Railroad things and he knows the value of things like that,to be sure! If he sells me the radio,he will name his price and I will pay him the money and the radio will sit in my living room till the day I croak. cuhulin |
You can always make room for a great old wooden cabinet tube type floor
model Radio.y'all ought to see the stuff inside my house.(on second thought, maybe not,it's a real mess.I am not one of those neat tidy dudes) cuhulin |
Hah...I know what you mean. I suspect that in my case room would be
made by having me sleep on the deck!!! |
