Default venturer radio

Re a Venturer radio model #2959-2. At he bottom front of the radio is a
place for things to be plugged in. One of them says ANT, which I assume is
for an antenna. Do you know what kind I would put in it? Sorry i don`t have
a manual for this radio.
Patt.

Any external shortwave ant would work.

I assume this is one of those 60s Transoceanic knockoffs. The plug could
either be an RCA type plug (which has a thick outer circle around the
plug) or a plain old earphone type plug. Describe what the plug looks
like and maybe we can tell you what to buy at Radio Shack. After you get
the right jack, all you need to do is connect some speaker wire to it
and hang the wire out a window.
