The price of a radio is directly to how many people are interested in
it. Apparently there are more potential buyers for the R2000 than the
R5000, and the price gets bid up. I would also guess that the R2000
buyers are not using the number of features and knobs as indicators of
value. Simplicity of use and a front firing speaker might be the
attraction.
