I want to at least see if it works. But that won't be untill I have the
proper antenna and whatever else I need to hook it up properly. There is at least one of two radio repair shops in the Jackson area that can repair my Transceiver properly if it needs repair or at least somebody around here knows something about that. And the third Thursday of each month (I think it is the third Thursday of each month) some ham radio operators have a meeting at the Red Cross building on Riverside Drive here in Jackson.I think I will start attending some of those meetings.Like I said before,my $2.00 Transcevier looks to me like it is in very good condition.I don't think it has ever been used before because it looks almost brand new to me.The mounting bracket for mounting it in a vehicle that came with it has never been used before either and the little screws (four little black screws and four larger chrome plated screws) are still in the little zip lock baggy. cuhulin |
