Radio Netherlands this morning
Radio Netherlands
The Dutch international service The new frequencies are in effect today. 17,810 weak signal 17,660 very strong, the strongest for me. 17,735 very strong signal 15,310 very strong signal Very strong signals for me mean that with the bookshelf speakers I can make turn the radio volume up as loud as I care to with little or no background noise. 17,810 is to weak for me to want to do that as the background static noise is to loud but it is listen-able at lower volume. -- Telamon Ventura, California |

So I'm used to tuning to Radio Japan after Netherlands signs off at 21:00 UTC and flicked the dial to 17,725 and was puzzled that they were not there. I had to turn the dial the other way to 17,825. I was used to turning down the dial from RN when it when off. Habits are tough to break. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
