MacKenzie-CA. snip Does anyone enter logs from the central coast in California? I am in the hills above Santa Cruz, 8 miles form the coast and at 880 ft elevation. Normally my reception is very poor. If I get one-quarter of the reception I see on the above logs I consider myself to be quite lucky. I am using an ICOM IC-R75 with 150 ft long wire, end feed. Also, a TenTec RX320D with a 60 ft DX-Slope, and a few old portables like the Sangen ATS-803A on their internal whips.
