good radio for military service?

I suggest the small RadioShack 12-803 Multi-Band radio, if you can find
one. My second choice would be the Grundig FR-200.
Both are somewhat durable in construction. The Grundig 400 is to fragile
and requires 6 penlight batteries to operate.
