Radio Australia is available also http://www.abc.net.au/

This is usually only heard for a couple of hours in the morning on the
radio here. 24/7 on the net, however!

Jesus Christ, are you people just figuring this out? These and others have
been around for years.
Almost all SW broadcasters have a web presence.

But, as has been pointed out numerous times 'tard boy, it's not radio in the
'normal' sense.

Then again, 'shortwave 'tard boy' rejects such as yourself have no concept of
what 'normal' is, do you?

Continue to tote and dream.

Only by you, Steve. Only by you. Most people here realize that a
sound box that works without wires and receives programming via
modulated electromagnetic radiation is a radio.

I appreciate your mentioning Scotland here. It needs all the
publicity it can get. Shame it doesn't have much on shortwave. :-)

I listen on the internet mostly to BBC7 (I'm listening to an ancient
Goon show right now - I Was Monty's Treble) and BBC Radio 4.

However, it should be noted that I have never gotten a "transmitter
overloaded" error on shortwave and it's a lot harder for the King of
Nepal to block shortwave than internet or local FM transmission.

Note that if you're going to listen on the internet you don't have to
listen to BBCWS. You can listen to any over-the-air radio station and,
in addition, satellite radio stations like BBC7.

So what is it you're trying to say, exactly? That you have a
slight apathy towards the British?

Ok, I get the picture. But I do wonder which particular Brits irk
you the most; English, Northern Irish, Welsh or Scottish? I'm guessing
the English, since they are the majority of the populace, and have
given the rest of us a bad name. :-)

Your hatred shows in the way you manage to mangle their language. Why speak it
if it's so onerous to you? You'll be at a loss for words, I'll wager.
