My little 1958 BMW Isetta car,it had only one door and that was the
front end of the car and a 9 Horsepower air cooled engine mounted right behind the seat and a four speed with a reverse gear shift lever mounted on the left side on the interior of the car. That little Isetta car of mine was Loud! when the engine was running, the metal body of the car had almost no insulation at all and it had a canvas roof that folded back to the rear of the car.it was a bright red color car and yes,I know, they are quite collectible cars now days, but almost all old cars are. There used to be a Goodwill thrift store on Palmyra Street in down town Jackson and on one of the residential streets near the store,I used to see an old Aston Martin car,I think the car dates back to the 1950's or definetly early 1960's.I don't think the car has been driven in many years.I know a guy in Jackson who owns a 1915 Cadillac car and an old Hupmobile car and several Model A and Model T cars and an old antique motorcycle.I own a 1914 Ford Model T one door, one seat car that I bought from a guy in November of 1971 in in Sioux Falls,South Dakota.I just do not have room here for any more cars. cuhulin |

What a cool little ride! I'd hate to see what was left of it after tangling with a modern truck or SUV, though. |
