Default Radio Netherlands today

Radio Netherlands 19:00 To 21:00 reception so far today.

17,810 weak as usual 17,735 this is the best frequency to get them on,
very strong 17,660 started out poor and has gotten better, weaker then
usual 15,315 is generally improving as the weeks go by.

17,660 is usually as good as 17,735 but not today. A lot of fading on
this frequency along with it being weaker.

Well, lets correct that last sentence. I found that 17,660 is
dramatically weaker than 17,735 on the horizontal loop compared to the
horizontal folded dipole. On the folded dipole it is only slightly
weaker and so both are very strong signals on the folded dipole. It
didn't used to be that way on the horizontal loop so its a good thing I
checked the other antenna.

This is a good example of why you want more than one type of antenna
around.
