I like Stair. No doubt about it, my kind of "people".

Bottom line is Bro Stairmeister is a relic from the old days
of the traveling circus tent preachers. He knows most people can see right thru his bull**** so he panders to the ignorant and uneducated masses to finance his dog-and-pony show. He'd be better off using regional AM radio to snag more suckers in the USA. He's definitely into AM as well. But I wouldn't underestimate the amount of gullibility in the US. Hudley Pearse |

I think he's 1) genuinely deluded and 2) more interested in power than
money. Hudley Pearse |

He hurt his influence, authority and sponsorship when it became known
that he had been laying the little ladies at the camp. I visited there and noticed that he placed a lot of PUBLIC emphasis on the virgins, even pointing out a few who were. He seemed to be a bit pre-occupied with the subject. ....But then to find, at least according to testimonies, that this was not a one time deal but had been going on for a long period of time with him supposedly telling one or more of the girls how to cause a spontaneous abortion - without telling them that's what they'd actually be doing! ....All the time telling the world that NOT ONE CHILD OF GOD HAD EVER BEEN ABORTED, or something to that effect, explaining that till God breathed the breath of life into them they did not become a living soul. Until they are born they do not breath. It sounds to me like he was trying to justify the action he was having the girls to take and possibly ease their minds or consciences should they realize that they caused the abortion / miscarriage by following his directions. He still preaches a lot of truth but many folks expect him to PRACTICE what he preaches! Yes, God can still use him. He used a jackass one time. He's probably used some of us who were about as unworthy as the jackass. I expect him to learn that he should have stayed with WWCR, at least part time. However, I suspect his pride will not allow him to ever go back. He probably feels they did him wrong by not continuing to "sponsor" him by supplementing his air time. Let's see if he gets the same listenership, support, etc. from the other stations, even though they may be a bit cheaper. The world moves on! The next chapter? ======== D. Martin wrote: I like Stair. Appreciate the tip.
I'm a newbie. "Mark Zenier" wrote in message ... In article , JS wrote: Tuning through the bands last night I heard him on 60, 49, 41 and 31 meter bands so yeah he's still on SW. My new radio should get those bands? Divide 300 by the meter designation to get the approximate frequency in MHz. In real terms, that's around 5, 5.9-6.2, 7.1-7.5, and 9.3-10 MHz. Really, they should just drop the meter band stuff, which dates back to the early 1900s. VOA doesn't bother with meters anymore. Mark Zenier Washington State resident |

Meters are wavelength, which helps put frequency of operation in perspective when you talk about antennas, transmission lines and other receiving components. If people don't want information in meters they should speak up like you have and if enough do then I'll drop the terminology. Wave length in meters is just the inverse of frequency. Oh well, you pushed a pet peeve button. Using meters for band designation is either pointless nostalgia or a shibboleth, a secret password that denotes group membership. What do you suggest we use in its place? -- Telamon Ventura, California |

Anyhow, shibboleth's aside, went through the freqs.
that I was pointed to and didn't hear Bro. Stair. Alot of religious programming though. Did listen to Radio Netherlands a while. I'm in South Florida so I've been picking up alot of Spanish stations. After listening to local AM for about 10 years (haven't had a SW radio since 95) it's a nice change. "Mark Zenier" wrote in message ... Stair this morning about 6:50. He was calling for radio checks. He was still on 5070 and I believe he said he was still on 7465 and a couple of other NON-WWCR SW frequencies. Seems he said WWCR promised to carry him till Wednesday and then that is to be IT. He's making the best he can of the WWCR frequencies by telling the world where they can find him on the competition's frequencies. :-) 5070 was booming into eastern NC this morning about that time. I think he got a call from FL that said they were getting it pretty good. |
