I don't know what the Radio Shack Canada stores are like. If they are
anything like those in the U.S. it will not be a loss.

The Radio Shack U.S. stores are like miniature versions of Circuit City
stores, so the selection of mainstream stuff isn't all that great. At
one time they were a good source for electronic components, odd-sized
phono jacks, unusual batteries, etc. But they have gone mainstream and
I can get the same stuff at Best Buy, Target, etc for less.
