I have a friend with a cabin that is miles away from any power lines - he uses solar power. Of course, he made up for the rf-quiet location by using noisy flourescent fixtures - you guessed it, radio is not his hobby. I agree with the other poster who suggested taking a radio to do radio surveys of the area. Even though a place might seem like it should be RF-quiet that is not necessarily the case. |
