See if there are any Ham Radio operators in your area. They can advise
you and help you decide on what sort of radio and related equipment
(antennas and baluns and such like) and books and magazines to buy. There
might be regular once a month meetings in your area or not far away you
can go to too. There is a once a month Amateur Radio meeting on the third
Thursday of each month in the city I live in.I am not a Ham Radio
operator. Some other folks in this news group can offer more information
about Ham Radio and some good websites to check out.
