recently. Today he made note that Congress has recently started referring
to China as "Communist China". - D'oh!

China Launches "Propaganda" Offensive

China has launched a campaign to counter U.S. criticism of its growing
economic and military power, employing a top American lobbying firm to
convey Beijing’s views to Congress.

The Chinese embassy has retained Patton Boggs to lobby on a wide range of
issues before Congress, according to a lobby registration statement filed
with the U.S. Department of Justice.

The hiring of Patton Boggs – which has also represented Saudi Arabia, Kuwait
and Pakistan – "highlights China’s efforts to respond to the rising wave of
anti-Chinese sentiment in Congress,” the Financial Times reports.

"Beyond trade, the ill feeling is also driven by Chinese threats toward
Taiwan and China’s rapid military expansion.” China has significantly
increased its presence in Washington over the past two years, with
government ministries and provincial governments hiring lobbying firms –
chiefly to work on trade issues.

"The Chinese are learning to walk the walk and talk the talk,” said Robert
Kapp, former president of the U.S.-China Business Council.

Addressing a meeting of the Council on Wednesday, Tan Jiaxuan, a senior
Chinese government official, said Beijing would "gradually” address American
concerns over the trade deficit and intellectual property rights, and would
allow the U.S. greater access to services, according to the Financial Times.

"All this will mean boundless opportunities for U.S. businesses,” he said.

Tang also met with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The discussion
focused on trade issues, preparations for a summit meeting in September
between President Bush and Chinese President Hu Jintao, and the crisis over
North Korea’s nuclear weapons program.

But even as Tang addressed the Council, U.S. legislators were passing a bill
that would allow American companies to seek tariffs on unfairly subsidized
Chinese imports. The bill had been temporarily blocked by Democrats.

The general was referring to six cities. The US has 15 THOUSAND
nukes-enough to turn most of the populated areas of China into fused
glass. That number is also likely far greater than the number of nukes
China posesses. If China really thinks it can wipe out the US and get
through relatively unscathed, I'm afraid they're sadly mistaken. The CCP
bosses would find themselves trapped in their bunkers with no way out
and a quickly depleting food and water supply, not to mention air.

I did a www.devilfinder.com search for,Distance from Hiroshima,Japan
to Beijing,China.About 962 miles,I think.Beijing needs to keep in mind
what we did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan in World War Two,nowdays we
can do to China much more faster and much more better.BIG TIME!

My map shows in excess of 20 major cities, and most of the population and industrial
centers of China east of Xian. That ain't relatively unscathed in anyone's book.

No one suggested China could wipe out the US, just make a nast mess of a few major
cities.

No one in anything approaching their right mind would assume that the US would use its
entire nuclear arsenal in a single conflict.
