He assumed that the US wouldn't use its entire arsenal against China. The general was referring to six cities. The US has 15 THOUSAND nukes-enough to turn most of the populated areas of China into fused glass. That number is also likely far greater than the number of nukes China posesses. If China really thinks it can wipe out the US and get through relatively unscathed, I'm afraid they're sadly mistaken. The CCP bosses would find themselves trapped in their bunkers with no way out and a quickly depleting food and water supply, not to mention air. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

Communist China never fights a superior enemy covertly.
Communist China is busy in research of post-nuclear super weapons. Including nano-scale weapons and covert delivery of deadly biological and chemical weapons. There is speculation that the recent Level-3 spread of the bird flu virus by migrating birds throughout Asia was initiated by the PLA as a test of a possible covert biological delivery method. The CCP has very little regard for loss of life, including its own peoples - Since 1949 the CCP has murdered 80 million of its own peoples. The CCP will go through extraordinary measures to insure the Party's survival and dictatorship. Even if it means the death of millions of Chinese citizens. Unlike the U.S. population of about 300 million, China, with a population of 1,300 million can reproduce 1 million people in ONE YEAR! Read http://www.dragoninthedark.com wrote in message ... If China would let the Chinese women have more than one child,China
could produce more than one million children each year.If a Chinese woman already has one child and she gets pregnant again, she must have an abortion willingly or the Chinese government will force her to have an abortion. cuhulin |

My map shows in excess of 20 major cities, and most of the population and industrial centers of China east of Xian. That ain't relatively unscathed in anyone's book. No one suggested China could wipe out the US, just make a nast mess of a few major cities. No one in anything approaching their right mind would assume that the US would use its entire nuclear arsenal in a single conflict. Dave |

No way, 500 on the first return salvo, then after our spy sats determine what is left and functioning, maybe another 500 or so. That only leaves us 14000+ or so. Any PCR military base, and remember lots of the PRC companies are owned by the PR army, becomes fair game. After 24Hrs no more PRC. The world enters a major, maybe several generation, global depression. Not a good outcome for anyone. Would the US survive as the major world power? Hard to say, at the least we could kiss "democracy" good by. We would get to see just how hardened the US is against EMP. It would fry most of our radios and kill the internet. But if it killed TV it might all be worth while. Terry |
