If China really thinks it can wipe out the US and get through relatively unscathed, I'm afraid they're sadly mistaken. The CCP bosses would find themselves trapped in their bunkers with no way out and a quickly depleting food and water supply, not to mention air. My map shows in excess of 20 major cities, and most of the population and industrial centers of China east of Xian. That ain't relatively unscathed in anyone's book. No one suggested China could wipe out the US, just make a nast mess of a few major cities. No one in anything approaching their right mind would assume that the US would use its entire nuclear arsenal in a single conflict. Dave |
