Art has nice equipment for sure. I was listening to the show last night
when he was speaking about that web page. He hopes it will help other people
become interested in ham radio. I remember when Art was talking about his
new massive antenna one night he was hosting the show. When I first heard
him mention that he was building a large elaborate antenna, I had a hunch
that once it was done, the new antenna would be reported by Art to have some
sort of mysterious properties. Sure enough, after he finished his antenna,
it was reported to be doing all sorts of unexpected and unexplained things.
As a matter of course, Tesla came into things... LOL. I just knew that was
coming. I like Art a lot and I like to listen to Coast To Coast every now
and then, especially when they have guests that are on the level like Seth
Shostak or when they have guests that are way over the top like Ed Dames.
Though every time I listen to the show, I'm reminded why it is a four hour
long show. The reason being is that it is three and a half hours of
commercials, news breaks and bumper music. They manage to get in a poultry
30 minutes or so of content between ringing the cash register. If it wasn't
for that, I'd listen more often.
