"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

That oft-quoted statement from Carl Sagan captures the essence of the

What does measure up is the evidence showing Chris C. Mooney's "Progressive"
agenda.

Chris C. Mooney is Washington correspondent for Seed magazine and a senior
correspondent for the American Prospect.

The American Prospect, Inc. "We incubate, train, and mentor young
'progressive' journalists," the site also says, "through our prestigious
writing fellows program."

--- "Progressive" is a propaganda code word for Socialist. ---

Online The American Prospect, Inc. operates not only a digital version of
its magazine and special reports but also a "public policy resource" of
links coordinating and integrating it with at least 140 other activist
"progressive" groups and web sites.

operates The American Prospect Magazine

Biggest funders include foundations controlled by Bill Moyers and George
Soros

Put out at least one publication without informing readers its content was

Its web project Moving Ideas promotes other "progressive" groups funded by
foundations controlled by Bill Moyers and George Soros

The American Prospect apparently takes editorial dictation from its leftwing
sugar daddies not only about what it publishes but also where it publishes.
