I can field this one (having had the same thing happen). Opening bid is $1. You bid $1.. later, you decide to up the bid to say, $3, so you do. The bid still stays at $1 because no one has bid against you. You keep thinking... maybe I'll bid a bit more.. so you go to $5, $8, $10... so your max bid goes up, but the current bid still stays at $1. But your new bids show up as new bids in the bidding list. |

It could be a bidder rethinking his bid several times as others have mentioned. It could also be a game the bidder is trying to play with other potential bidders. By making it seem that he has bid the radio way up, it may drive off potential bidders. Just put your max bid in and see what happens. |
