Perhaps it was 500,000 Watts,I don't remember,but the radio
station/program in Del Rio,Texas I liked to listen to (Wolfman Jack was
great too) came on the after midnight and I liked to listen to the
preacher guy on there.I don't remember the call letters of the radio
station or the name of the preacher guy. There is some interesting Del
Rio History and other History about those Texas towns out that way.

back in nineteen sixty-six?
Country Jesus, hillbilly blues,
that's where I learned my licks.
Oh, from coast to coast and line to line
in every county there,
I'm talkin' 'botu that outlaw X
is cuttin' through the air.

Anywhere, y'all,
everywhere, y'all,
I heard it, I heard it,
I heard it on the X.

We can all thank Doctor B
who stepped across the line.
With lots of watts he took control,
the first one of its kind.
So listen to your radio
most each and every night
'cause if you don't I'm sure you won't
get to feeling right.

I heard it, I heard it,

KTRH has gotta beam towards the west and south because KRMG Tulsa operates
25000 watts at night on 740 MHz towards the east and north.

WBAP Fort Worth on 820 MHz sounds like a local all throughout the midwest at
night.

KTRH Houston, also a 50KW station but using a directional antenna pattern,
should be listenable to much of the Midwest depending on conditions.

Doctor John Romulus Brinkley was born on July 8,1885 died May 26,1941.I
was born on Nevember 5,1941,so it wasen't Doctor Brinkley that I used to
listen to out of Del Rio,Texas.Doctor Brinkley has a funny interesting
History though and he really was a Quack too, check it out,it's a real
Hoot.By the way, there is a rumor going around here in Jackson that fema
is taking over the gas stations.A rumor that started somewhere in
Mississippi or wherever last Friday, some idiot told a woman at a gas
station that fema is taking over all of the gas stations.Guess
what, those idiots are lining up at the gas stations again around
here. Some folks are phonening in to the local Jackson,JT and Dave radio
talk show about it.Fortunately,I gased up my car last week so I won't
have to worry about it for about two more months.Run Chicken
Little,Run! fema is taking over all of the gas stations! NOT True!

Here in the Chicago area, 740 is dominated by CHWO at night.

Please pass the barbecued iguana. Is that goat's head soup? Yes, I'd
like some of that too.
