Hmm what a mess - lets start over

CAT is Yaesu's Acronym for Computer Aided Transceiver.

This allows the Transceiver settings to be controlled by a computer, can be
used with some logging programs. Requires software and an appropriate cable.

For details go to the Yaesu page for the FT-857 at URL:

http://www.yaesu.com/indexVS.cfm?cmd...chived= 0--CL

Now click on FILES

Then click on FT-857 pdf (3.09 MB)

On page 115, read all about CAT for this transceiver

CL -- I doubt, therefore I might be !
