Give me your children and I'll show you what teaching is all about. Oh never mind. You likely have never had any children. Legitimate anyway. They are not advocating "teaching" religion. They are simply advocating giving students an awareness of other points of view so that students themselves can decide in what to beleive or not beleive and not have to be forcefully indoctrinated in the liberal, "progressive", socialist, communist athiest ideology. No one is trying to shove the "teaching" of religion in public schools. They simply wish to point out to students the "possible" alternative points of view. The Left-wing is absolutely frightened to the core that this would undermine their Socialist and ultimately Communist agenda. And you know what? It most certainly will! Teaching unscientific stuff in science class is nothing less than anarchy. It is undermining the foundation of democracy which is that we are a well-educated electorate. Next we'll be teaching kids that the Earth is the center of the universe, and women came from the rib of the first guy on the planet. Yep, scientific. The fascistas want us to be stupid, scared and confused. I can think of no better vehicle for accomplishing that than the perversion called Judeo/Christian/Moslem (what is that called ''Abrahamism'' or something) religion being taught to our children as anything other than a relic from a darker time. |
