It's moving the S-meter triangle to as many as 4 bars on a Kaito 1103 fed
by a drooping, wet G5RV via antenna tuner, 1.7MHz HPF and CATV splitter here
in Toronto.

One of my mods to my DX-394 must have desensitised it - it spends longer in
the noise.
