Since the AOR LA380 WideBand Active Loop Antenna accepts
a BNC Plug; it should already have a 50 Ohm Output Impedance
and therefore should not need any Matching Transformer. It can
be directly connected to your Radio Receiver.

Per Grove Enterprises the AOR LA380 Wideband Active Loop Antenna
has an Impedance of 50 Ohms
http://www.grove-ent.com/LA380.html

Per LA380 Leaflet (PDF Format) the Impedance is 50 Ohms
http://www.aorusa.com/la380.html

LA380 Operating Manual (PDF Format)

LA380 - Short Wave High Performance Table-Top Active Loop
Aerial, {Antenna} usable range : 10kHz - 500MHz

WHY NOT THE WELLBROOK ? ? ? ALA 1530 :
If you are in-fact considering the AOR LA380 WideBand Active
Loop Antenna : Then you should also be considering the
WellBrook Active Loop Antenna Model ALA 1530 150kHz-30MHz
which is a One Meter Diameter Aluminium Loop for Longwave,
Medium Wave and Shortwave.

Default ABOUT - The AOR LA380 WideBand Active Loop Antenna

Sanjaya - And One Foot is all you get [.]
About 113 Sq In of Signal Capture Area (Aperture)

The WellBrook at about a Meter Diameter is larger.
About 1217 Sq In of Signal Capture Area (Aperture)

"Build - Your - Own" Loop Antenna

A GreerTech RG8 Coax Cable Loop Antenna used with an Active
Pre-Selector could be a low cost 'better radio reception'
answer instead of the with AOR and WellBrook WideBand Active
Loop Antennas.

A "GreerTech" Coax Cable {Shielded} Loop Antenna
Thirteen Foot (13') RG8 Coax Cable Loop Antenna Element with
a Four Foot (4') Diameter and a Three Foot (3') Feed-in-Line
with PL-259 Plug; for a Total Length of 16 Feet .
LOOP INFO = http://tinyurl.com/8k7o6
Has a Signal Capture Area (Aperture) of about 1808 Sq In
and can be used with many of the MFJ Active Pre-Selectors
MFJ-959; MFJ-1020; MFJ-1040; MFJ-1045; etc to provide an In-Door
Low Noise Loop Antenna to Null-Out many 'local' Noise Source.
