Nothing is new under the sun.. :) They used to build radios (back in the
tube days) into some strange things.. like refrigerators, kitchen tables,
telephones (on the wall)..

BTW, J&R Electronics seems to have them in stock under the DeLonghi brand,
same model number. DeLonghi is known for manufacture of heating appliances..

There is a Target store here in Jackson.I wouldn't be supprised at all
that sooner or later I will see one of those crumb cake toaster/radios
at the Goodwill thrift store near me.I wonder if the metal toaster case
serves as the antenna?

If I could only find a red telephone with a red flashing light in the middle
of the dialer like they use in those missile silos as "the Hot phone". ;-)

I own two red telephones. It is a Stromberg Carlson Slenderet telephone
with a rotary dial. It's one of them slim line telephones. My other red
telephone is a Western Electric with a push button dial. Both phones
otherwise look just like each other.I own some other old telephones
too, some of them are very old telephones. My telephone that I use is a
Western Electric desk style telephone that dates back to 1933.
