On the contrary..they raised HIS. Rumour has it that they paid for GED
courses so he could sign up legally. They won't take anyone who has not
completed grade nine, not even for the most menial of ground work.

Eithe they paid to let him get a GED or they were willing to look the other
way. Seems to be the in-thing for military recruiters.
