Default 'portable' AM/FM Shortwave Radio Question : Sony ICF-2010 / Sony ICF-SW7600GR / Eton E1 with XM Satellite Radio

Roger,

My Opinion {Reasons} on Three Good Choices in 'portable' AM/FM
Shortwave Radio Question : Sony ICF-2010 / Sony ICF-SW7600GR / Eton E1
with XM Satellite Radio

If you have the Money - Then Buy the Sony ICF-2010 as it is the better
of the two Radios. The problem with the Sony ICF-2010 is that they
are not being made anymore; and you have to take the time to find a
'good' Used Radio that is fully functional and has not been damaged or
abused over the years. Used Sony ICF-2010 Radios can go for $240 to
$360 on eBay with some claimed New-In-the-Box Sony ICF-2010 Radios
going for $500 to $750.

Ooops - It looks like I need to do an "ABOUT" -

If "Cost" {Price} and 'Assured Value' is a big concern; then the Sony
ICF-SW7600GR is you better bet - IMHO. The Sony ICF-SW7600GR Radio can
be bought "New" for about $150 and it is the best 'portable' AM/FM
Shortwave Radio out there in it's Price Range [.]

FWIW - The Newest Toy Out There for the Shortwave Listener (SWL)
seeking a 'portable' AM/FM Shortwave Radio is the Eton E1 Receiver with
XM Satellite Radio.
