Default Wellbrook Antenna Arrives

I get great results with my Wellbrook in the attic on a rotor.

I received my Wellbrook 1530 and have it hooked up. It seems to do a lot
better than what I was using... an indoor random length wire about 40 feet
long. I have the Wellbrook hooked up to my Icom 718 and it seems to do
pretty well. Currently it is setting on the floor leaning against my desk.
It will eventually be mounted on a pole in my second story room which I
can
turn by hand or on in the attic (third floor) with a rotator. It does have
the ability to null out interference from other stations on the same or a
nearby frequency.

I would like to put it on a pole outdoors but then comes problems with
nosey
neighbors and the home owners association NAZIs. I was considering getting
a
Satellit 800 to hook up to the antenna just to play with but haven't
decided
yet.

What kind of radio do you have it hooked up to? Do you have it attached to a
metal conduit pipe as Wellbrook suggests? Are you using just an el cheapo
$60 rotator?
