Anyone have one for sale? Thanks This one's just as good. Needs a little mechanical modification to keep the heavy whip from loosening up the nut on top. http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/sw_ant/1132.html |

A little dab of Loctite (dont let Loctite get on plastic! I once found
that out the hard way) will help keep the little antenna screw and nut tight.I have an old Shortwave radio (one of many radios I bought at the Goodwill store years ago) and the antenna wouldn't stay tightened up no matter what.I cut a little short piece of clear plastic tubing and I slipped that down over the whip antenna to keep the antenna upright,it works like a charm. cuhulin |
