well, my degen 1103 arrived yesterday, my first impression upon opening the
box were not good.
it is very small, isn't it.
but then i switched it on, after getting used to the awkward volume controls
i started to hunt around the bands.
I was very impressed to be honest, it certainly is a sensitive radio all
round. if anything i think the narrow filter makes lw sound bad and the wide
filter makes it sound tiney, but then what can you expect from a radio
costing $30
all in all I am happy with it, it fares very well against both my 7600gr and
7600d, and leaves my grundig yb400 standing. not tested it up against my
2010 yet but not expecting it to outdo that one.
