Default Russia Plans to Return to Soviet-era Radio Jamming

I sort of know a guy (sort of because sometimes he post at
www.lucianne.com and www.pipelinenews.org) who retired from the
U.S.Army and he lives in Hattiesburg,Mississippi. He worked at Kagnew
Station in Africa www.kagnewstation.com in decyphering radio
signals.I guess he knows quite a lot about radio jamming and much more.

It might be a North American relay.

Seriously doubt it. We get nothing from N. America here.. least of all
Sackville. We're less than 350 miles from China (just go straight north
through the DPRK), and regularly hear AMBCB from China, and during e-skip
openings have heard FM BCB from Xianghai and points north. (interesting, we
never hear anything from Japan, though, and they're much closer, only about
900 miles from Tokyo, less than 500 from Fukuoka)

I used to pick up Armed Forces Radio on my shirt pocket transistor in
Vietnam,,, and some Vietnamese radio stations too.Actually though, you
didn't need a transistor to pick up them Vietnamese stations because
they had wires and speakers out in country everywhere.

I hadn't realized you weren't in the US.

As you probably know, any shortwave broadcast in English (excluding the
Brits and former colonies) is often meant as propaganda, though not
necessarily lies, but more like somebody with an agenda.

I have had my fill of Chinese opera on dozens of frequencies day and
night. Maybe the Russians would use classical music to jam CRI. That
would be a nice change of pace.
