Picked up a strong signal last nite in the 49 meter band that stated they
were China Radio International Beijing; they were broadcasting in English;
they abruptly stopped broadcasting at 06:00 UT; anyone know what frequency
it might have been, or can point me at a source of info?

Hi Lisa and happy New Year!

Try this page. They also have a updated
schedule you can download that is update frequently. I mean they update it
when any new frequency changes or comes out.

And this is their main page which will help YOU I.D. EVERYTHING OUT THERE.
You can download the above list from the top of their main page. Look,
you'll see it.

If this doesn't do it, I don't know what will be as accurate as this site
will be.
