MFJ = Mighty Fine Junk
Also, don't believe hem abut the no questions asked trial or their
warranty or basically anything else they promise to the customer other
than the stated price of the item.

I have an MFJ-1024 that's been running continuously since early 1999.

If you buy through a dealer they will honor the return policy.

And if MFJ screws up we can send CooHoo down to the factory in his

I dont live too far South (South is always best) of the MFJ factory here
in Mississippi. www.MFJEnterprises.com I wish MFJ would start

Just out of curiosity, do you guys think that the Sony active antenna,
placed near the window, will work better than the home made wire antenna
hanging outside in a concrete jungle environment?

Hi Ngu..

Suggest trying to get more wire outside the building..
even a few feet away willl help reduce noise and impriove signal
reception..

ONE suggestion is to make a co-ax lead in from your outside wire to the

shortwave radio

- and arent little cheap radios Fun ??

The Sony antenna would work no better than a few feet of cheap wire you
can string up around a window yourself.Dont believe all of those
glorious fandangled ads they propagate.Wire counts.

Actually the Sony AN-LP1 has performed better than any indoor wire
antennas I have been able to construct.
