Try a loop antenna first. Past that, there are noise reducing antenna
systems available to purchase, but they cost quite a bit. Have a look-see at: http://www.kongsfjord.no/dl/Antennas...20Antennas.pdf |

I have the ANC-4. It wasn't very expensive (about $100), and it was
effective when I used a long wire. Since I went to a Wellbrook, I don't use it anymore. I suppose I could ebay the ANC-4, but I understand there are ways to use two loop with the ANC-4 to make a really deep null while still aiming the main antenna at the desired signal. Actually, I got the old ANC-4 when JPS was making consumer products. The Timewave version is about twice the price. http://www.universal-radio.com/catal...amps/0094.html Here is the MFJ version: http://www.universal-radio.com/catal...amps/3541.html I'd get the wellbrook before I bought any of these noise cancellers.
