coming out with a new pc controlled black box receiver to replace it with. I

Right, well, while you're on a roll, why don't you re-tell the tale of
your two Drake R8 receivers?

Oh, gawd, does his magic yacht-boy outperform the R8s, too. This
guy's a real winner. Tennessee Trash, indeed.

Judging from his troll tactics, language and a number of other factors,
it seems to be the same guy who was earlier posting under the name of
"Rob".

As for his YB-400, it has on occasion been the subject of ridicule (I
guess these things simply depend on who he's trying to get riled up):

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.r...17d19d9ad9d270

As for his two R8 receivers, they were such a "big disappointment" that
after 6 months of use, he gifted them to his sons so that they could
listen to their high school radio station (!):

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.r...a2cb7d67d7180a

As far as these things go, one can't help but to concede that the "high
school radio" touch to the story was pretty original.

This guy seems to have also posted under a few other names: "johnboy"
and "JR" and ". While he changes names a lot, various
aspects of the troll tactics remain consistent. In any case, he seems
to keep himself amused. And, after all, for good or ill, usenet is
basically one big zoo where anything goes...
