To the original poster: There's a guy on eBay named Liypn who sells the 1103
for under $50. I ordered one from him and got it in 7 days. I believe he ships from Shanghai (or perhaps it's Hong Kong?). He also sells an adapter to work on US mains, but I have only used batteries in mine. The US version (Kaito 1103) is the same radio. It will have a 1 year warranty and comes with an AC adapter. You can buy it via several online retailers. It will cost more, but you would not have to ship it all the way back to China in the unlikely chance there is something wrong with it. Jackie |
