They're presently on 3.953 LSB, and as you correctly observed, the old
fossil from the midwest is in there outgassing for 20+ minutes at a
time like an relief valve on an old leaky power substation oil-filled
transformer in 90°F heat, as per the usual. It does however make for
better listening that WWCR which only plays Brother Stinkpot Stair thru
the night as the only other alternative on shortwave.
