a great idea using RA trasmitters??, but as a percentage of listerns

It would be useful to hear from somebody in the area, but they are
probably rather pre-occupied at present.

However, given the extent of publicity regarding cyclone warning etc,
I would expect a reasonable level of awareness and capability to
receive HF services in the region - especially given that many rural
areas would have only marginal quality MF and FM reception.

Damn, another smart-arse spoiling a good story ;-))

I have to agree with the sentiments expressed by 'The Old Bloke', Why

I did the Google search thing.... all it has told me is that Ashley seems
to have spent many hours collating information on scanning, and writing
pages that are on Scan Australia. Oh, and he has also put a message or two
up on a Melbourne Music discussion board looking for a couple of people to
play live music with.

I see nothing wrong with any of these activities.

So the suggestion that a Google search was going to reveal the old bones
that are possibly hiding in Ashley's closet comes to nothing!

HMMMM
Ashley's idea of Researching Freqs is to copy direct someone elses web
page, change a few things in an attept to make it look different and
then copyright it as his own work, then claim that he was driving all
over the country in a clapped out Genewhine SLR Torana, smoking weed and
drinking burbon while scanning for all the freqs he had on his web page

most of the info was so grossly out of date or completely wrong
He then came into aus.radio.scanner and claimed that his web page was
Australia best because he started the counter at 50,000 visitors
and even asked for comments about the site
when people started to indicate the errors on the page, what was Asley's
response, to attack everyone who pointed to any errors on his page
claiming that his info was the most accurate of all and we didn't know
anything about scanning etc...

Ashley is a ****wit of the highest order

if you have a good look at the google search you should still find his
ramblings, it's quite funny some of it

Curious, how do you copyright frequencies?? It doesn't matter where he
got info from, the frequencies are the same anyways. If an agency
exists on xxx.xxx Mhz then they exist there, regardless of who provided
in the info. If I got a hold of the government frequency register and
posted some agencies on a web site, then another person done the same
thing then good on them, it is still the same info regardless where it
came from.

Also, why the personal attacks on here?? NONE of us on here want to see
it. Honestly the mentality of some people on here very closely
resembles the behaviour of my 3 year old twins. It has become
bleedingly obvious that some people truly lead miserable lives, trawling

In addition to Kevs' response,

I too offered to update the information of Ash's website, citing
current pages and links for new data. I got an earful of abuse from him
for my efforts and the pages remained out of date with incorrect
information on "Australias Best Scanning Website" for years. Stuff him.

Ashley also carries a mighty chip on his shoulder. He has an "H"
amateur callsign. Most people think nothing of it and happily chat to
other hams, not caring what their licence class is, but people don't
talk to Ash because he is an idiot, and he blames it all on "H" call
prejudice.

Since the upgrade to a Ham call, he has presumed to tell everyone else
how it should be done. Enthusiasm is wonderful, but bringing bad
Freebander (ie Pirate) habits with you and then blaming others for not
respecting you on air is laughable.

THAT'S WHY!

Brad.

1. I don't eat McChucks or any takeaway, haven't for a couple of years.

2. I drink Bulleit Burboun and Bulleit only, or Cartlon Draught, Jack
Daniels. Besides, I never drink in my car or when I have the car, how
****in' stupid to drive a car when the pubs just over 1km away. I do
something you probably can't, I put one foot in front of the other and
keep bloody going. (I wish you'd do the same, off a cliff!)

3. Yep, the website and info was so crap that I was paid a rather large
sum of money to sell it to someone else in a private sale. That website
will buy me my IC7000 and my IC7400, so I ain't care what you think kev.

4. Real SLR torana's have no back seats, you bloody idiot! (They were
never installed)

5. As for Kev and his ilk, you'd do well to visit the State Library or
National Library of Australia where copies of "The Geelan Globe" (later
"VicNews") is held. It's my magazine, with lot's of frequencies etc that
I used to publish in Grade 6 (1990), Year 7 (1991) and Year 8(1992). It
was registered with the Congress & Australian Library, assigned an ISSN
of 1038-6971 and this was produced, Kev, many, many years before I,
schools or the government, or anyone else had the internet, you dickhead.

6. When you walk 36km most nights to get home (from Whittlesea to
Kinglake), then bitch at me, otherwise get stuffed. I'm betting that
those on here bitching at me are probably fat, overwieght lazy slobs who
can hardly walk to their own letterbox, that's why the spend so much
time on the internet. (a la Homer Simpson)

7. I don't waste time on a website, I sold it long ago, moron.

8. I still get at least one call everyday from someone wanting to know
something from the website, inlcuding government agencies, and
sub-ordinate authorities, (if you know what that means) do you?

So instead of relying on a computer and Google to do your research I
suggest a visit to the State or National Library where you will find
copies of said magazine circa 1989 on the shelves, or don't you know
what an ISSN or how to use the DEWEY DECIMAL system, Kev? Look it up on
the library's catalogue "VicNews" or "1038-6971" and what do you find?

Probaly too hard for you to do any research the old fashioned, reliable
way.

I'd post you an old copy Kev, to prove I'm right, but I wouldn't waste
45cents on a stamp for you, if you send me a SASE and I'll give ya a
copy, otherwise, GET STUFFED!

Or how about the list of police frequencies, I provided to Police Life
(the VKC in-house magazine) as a year 7 student. Check out July 1991's
Police Life, again before computers. So this bull**** about copying
others webpages is bull****. I was producing frequency lists,
newsletters and newspapers with radio info many years before the
internet existed, or usenet, so I somehow stole this info before it even
existed on the web? See I'm that ****in' smart I can steal web pages
when the web doesn't yet exist, now how clever is that!

All the fire frequency info I had was published, again many years before
the web, in Eltham CFA's "909 News" newsletter, again, before the web
existed, find an Eltham CFA member and ask them for the Fire Services
Frequency Brochure I produced in 1994.

At the end of the day, that website filled my bank account nicely, so
whatver you say I ain't give a ****, loser.

Wondering how many thousands you've made from your website(s)?

So, whatever I said with my scanning website filled my bank account,
nicely.

Anyway, enough crapping on with morons, I should have learnt my lesson
long ago..

Don't argue with fools (Kev and his ilk) as people might not know the
difference.

Kev you are the Home Hardware Tool of The Year.

Simon removed the links, because I had the balls to meet him face to
face and explain what was really going on at the time. At first, I'm
sure he had some doubts, but once equipment started to be purchased with
his callsign as well, everything fell into place and Simon removed the
links, realising it wasn't me bringing pirates, or helping them, get
gear for ham bands, but rather others playing games.

Be warned, I have proven to many people that a group of CB'ers in
Melbourne scan the ham bands, pluck some callsigns, and then buy gear
with it, pretending to be that person. They then come on as pirates and
say "callsign x helped me get it" which is a load of b/s. It's not just
me this has happened to. You could be next, and if they do pick one of
you lot that's been giving it to me for years I'm going to go to town on
you and have a field day with it, not to mention the fact that I'll
treat you the same way you treated me.

"Dozo swate kutesi" to Kev and his ilk.

"Konichiwa, rocku son" to everyone else.

Ashley VK3HAG

PS. My friends aren't on UHF CB either, they sit on CH 18 HF CB AM,
where the Greensborough guys have chatted since we were in high school,
not UHF CB as you lot seem to think.

when the web doesn't yet exist, now how clever is that!

Thx, good sigs to VK3.

Where do you find this info all the time Stephen?

He finds the good stuff because he clearly is a superior person to

you,
ashley boyo and unlike you he doesn't waste time on a ****ty little
website with obsolete and incorrect data.

No No No
that's not right
everyone knows the correct way to find radio stuff is to sit in a
clapped out Torana wasted on wacky weed and then steal everyone elses
web pages, make a pathetic attempt to disguse the fact then copyright

it
as their own

Aint that right Ashley

Kev

But only if the trarner's back seat is full of cockroach infested mac
scrotum wrappings and don't forget the bottle of JD under the front
seat .

I don't believe or disbelieve, I don't care enough about anyone in here to
do the research and find out lol. I did enjoy his reply though.

See I'm that f*****

(rest now ignored)

Hi Ashley. That was quite convincing and you persuaded me right up to the
inevitable F-word. If you can't express yourself without slipping into that,
you've lost me, and goodness knows how many others.

Kev does it too, and so do many others, with the same result.
