Default SWL in a downtown apartment...(curses!)

I recall reading about a device that would sample the outside
electrical racket and apply it 180 out of phase to the radio input in
order to reduce the interference. Perhaps someone in the group has
information on it.
In the meantime some of the osculators in the streets of Reno could
send you some signals.
