Voice of Turkey on 5975 kHz; EE to NAm @ 0300-0400

Anyone notice that V of Turkey has taken up one of the Beeb's abandoned slots? Voice of Turkey is now on 5975 kHz in English, from 0300-0400. Very nice signal in mid-Atlantic USA. Good move on VOT's part! Similar to the manner in which R. Netherlands had taken up use of abandoned BBC time slots on 9590 kHz when the BBC eliminated its NAm service in 2001. junius They still play that Egypshine space music? |
