Good move on VOT's part! Similar to the manner in which R. Netherlands had taken up use of abandoned BBC time slots on 9590 kHz when the BBC eliminated its NAm service in 2001. I finally remembered to tune it in and was not able to make it out very well. Signal level fluctuated dramatically and the announcer sounding like they were talking in the bottom of a thank. Modulation was a little on the weak side. All this made it impossible to tell what they were talking about. How good is the signal for you? I'll have to try another time in order to know if this is the usual reception for me. Conditions are good right now so I'm not hopeful. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
