Not a bad deal, really...although I find that the E5 and E100 are
better niche-fillers (E5 being a better quality compact portable and
the E100 being a nice option as an ultra-compact radio).

But, hey, if you're in the market for an E1 and don't have a '7600GR or
DE1103 or something of that size/class, then this deal is pretty sweet.
Or sell the E10 on eBay, and you'll be getting your E1 at a
significant savings.

NPR...oh, and perhaps that gosmithwhisper guy will try to turn this

Is that Grundig Mini 300 any good?

I find it to be an excellent portable receiver!
