an on topic post: Short wave positively affected by a power failure
 
yesterday we had power for about 8 hour here so I spent alot more time
listen to shortave and a lot more wseemed to be on, this first suprised
me but after a bit of thought I think i realized why.

be nice to see the thoughts of others to see if indepentant minds come
to the same conclusion

Because all of the appliances in your house (and houses up and down
your street as well)that use microprocessors were quiet. So that you
heard lots more stations and had a very pleasant time.

Sorry Pal, but I have no use for a smelly generator. The only time
the power goes out here is when Ken Lay pulls the plug on us and I
understand he's been relieved.

I think he's got some kinda permanent drip going, no need to find a vein.
