Default Eaton E1 DRM next?

This was posted to the Eaton yahoo list by Ron Ingram.

BH

Having justed attended Europes biggest Ham Fest in Friedrichshafen, one of
my main obectives while there was to visit the stand of the German
distributor for Eton / Lextronics - "Laauser & Vohl".

the E1 is now available in Europe and is now shipping, could be boght at the
fair.

Two pieces of news:

1. There is an European (non-USA) version of the E1, in that it does not
gave the XM Antenne socket on the right hand side and does not have any XM
circuitary inside. Why does the European version have less inside but cots
50% more???

2. Taling with the German distributor rep, he confirmed that Eton are in the
process of developing a DRM module that will fit into the right hand of the
radio (space vacated by XM). No price or delivery dates are available.

I will post a photo of the European E1 (from German Catalogue) in the photo
section of this group.

Ron

Default Eton E1 Radio with DRM next ?

BH,

Interesting News about the Eton E1 Radio
with future DRM capablilities

Most of the Higher Cost of any Consumer Product
in the EU is due to the Higher Taxes that they pay
for Large Grovernment Social Welfare Programs.
