That's simply not true, Mike. I sent my 350 to TT for a minor repair and a touchup and it was done, on time, as they promised, for less than $100. ================================================== ====================== Peter. i've been looking at the TT RX350D. i was wondering if you ever had the lock-up prob? read about it on the web; 350 some times needs a re-boot/ re-start? Father Michael. I've not encountered that, no. I had a backlight fail. Which apparently is not an uncommon problem with early RX-350. The problem was corrected with more substantial SMD resistors and a minor circuit modification on subsequent units, and now, mine. Firware is stable, and I've never encountered so much as a blip. Updates went smoothly as well. No, it's not locked up, and believe me when I tell you, I did my best to try to force one. I've been so pleased with RX-350 that I sold several of my other receivers. And the folks at Ten-Tec couldn't have been more helpful. p |
