Default Passive Antenna Recommendations

Your longwire setup should improve your signal. Make sure your wire
does not touch anything that conducts electricity like metal. You can
experiment with the lenth of the wire and the direction to improve
reception.

I have a longwire already that came with my Sony 7600
but I'm thinking that getting a longer antenna will capture more
singal. Any recommendations?

Right now I've connected my longwire to the fireescape
however the end of the antenna is not metallic so im not sure
if this will imporve the signal since the longwire is not making
a contact with the escape.
