I came up with this idea to make a tiny antenna tuner. Thought maybe I
could remove the wire on a rheostat and rewind it with copper wire so I can make a long wire antenna tuner . Dennis W6EH |

Hmmm...not a bad idea. I have no use for a Miracle Whip antenna, but
I think I'll try that approach as another alternative to Phil Salas, AD5X's portable vertical base matching techniques. It might even be feasible for the tuneable component of a center loading coil.
