Default Interesting antenna from the 1930's

I received this link from a lurker at my swler account.

While I have sworn off wire antennas, it is intriguing.

It appears to be derived from the works of F. R. W. Strafford as
shown at Dallas's
files at the kongsfjord page.

I guess antenna design has been a hot topic since the dawn of radio.
