Default MFJ1734 mounting

Hi,

I bought a used MFJ1734 (2m/70cm) on glass antenne without
installation instructions.
This I found at mods.dk but I'm confused on how to mount the little 6
inch ground plane hook.

Is there anyone who can mail me a picture of this ?

Can not easily send you a picture, but it is pretty simple. It
merely snaps on the little RF connector on the tuning box.... between the
box and the edge of the coax plug. It swivels in various directions....
I have mine positioned to run back down alongside of the coax.... BTW,
as I understand it, that little 6" length only effects the tuning of
antenna for the 440 MHz band, and not 2M at all.

It also pays to scrub off the black anodizing.
